From 2012 to 2018, my two friends and I founded and curated Midnight City, a bimonthly club night in Amsterdam born out of our passion for music and desire to introduce fresh, unconventional sounds to the city’s nightlife. As DJs ourselves, we created a platform where relatively unknown artists were introduced to the Netherlands for the first time, pushing boundaries and setting a bold standard for club culture.
In addition to the club nights, we engaged with our audience on SoundCloud, sharing podcasts, live recordings, and free tracks that extended the Midnight City experience beyond the dance floor. To visually capture the daring and innovative spirit of the brand, I designed a bold brand identity using five striking neon colors, reflecting the energy and uniqueness of our events.

Midnight City was more than a party—it was a celebration of bold musical exploration and a space for connecting audiences with groundbreaking sounds. Through its fearless approach to curation and community engagement, it redefined the Amsterdam club scene.
